We are giving away some free coffee-themed patterns in this post as a way of thanking their readers for their support. They provide their inspiration, pattern usage ideas, and explanations on how they generate these patterns. Let's go over each section in more detail:

Finding Inspiration for this Friday's pattern design

It's been so hectic with work this week, and I just didn't have time to brainstorm any Ideas.
After a long day, in the afternoon I just made some coffee. Then it hit me as I was drinking my coffee how relaxed I was feeling in that moment. So that's when I knew that I would use coffee as my theme.

Where to use these patterns

You can use them as decorative elements in any design. Preferably best used in packaging or branding, social media cover designs, stationery, and book covers.

You can also use them for your print-on-demand products on websites like Zazzle, Red Bubble, TeePublic, and TeeSpring.

You are allowed to use these patterns for personal and commercial use as long as you don't sell the design itself. For example, sell these pattern files as PNG, SVG, or PDF.

How do I make these patterns?

I usually look for photos on Pinterest or other social media sites to find Inspiration. Thereafter, I download the photos I like and sketch ideas on paper or my tablet using a drawing app like Sketchbook Pro, which is free and can be downloaded from your Google Play or App Store.

Once I'm happy with my sketches, I will import them into Inkscape, a free alternative to Adobe Illustrator for my desktop. Then I will come up with a color palette. Then, either using shapes or the pen tool to refine my designs, I finally colored them in.
